Before After

Mr. Az, a retired army personnel and a diabetic patient undergoing dialysis, suffered a foot injury due to lack of proper foot care. His dry and scaly skin led to the formation of an open wound. He had previously undergone a left leg amputation and was now experiencing a similar wound on his right foot. Although advised to proceed with toe amputation, he opted for treatment at Clinic Star Medicare on 27 February 2024. Within two weeks, his blood sugar levels became controlled, and intensive treatment accelerated the healing process. On 25 May 2024, he fully recovered and was successfully discharged with stable blood sugar levels.

Mu****, a diabetic patient who underwent toe amputation surgery at a government hospital due to a critical wound caused by the lack of proper foot care. After the surgery, the condition of the wound at the amputation site worsened. He later sought treatment at Clinic Star Medicare on 22 July 2024 and was discharged on 13 August 2024, with his foot condition fully healed and his blood sugar levels better controlled (as diabetes is one of the main factors that slows down the wound healing process).

Before After

S*d**, a 62-year-old father, suffered a foot injury after stepping on a nail. Although more than a month had passed and he had already sought treatment at a nearby clinic in Raub, Pahang, his foot condition had not fully recovered.

Now retired and active on social media, he began following @clinicstarmedicare on TikTok and decided to come to Johor Bahru in hopes of treating his foot before it worsened. Moreover, he was constantly reminded by his concerned children who cared deeply about his health.

On 01/07/2024, he came to the clinic with his wife for his first treatment. The treatment began with an antibiotic drip to prevent bacterial infection at the wound site. The wound area was then opened to drain pus and remove maggots found inside. Thanks to prompt and proper treatment, his wound was still under control. Good diabetes management, proper nutrition knowledge, and consistent foot care using Dfeet lotion were applied to help speed up recovery and reduce the risk of new wounds.

After several days of treatment, on 12/07/2024, the Clinic Star Medicare team successfully discharged another patient whose wound had fully healed and with better-controlled blood sugar levels. Congratulations to S*d** for taking early action in foot care.

Le***, a 50-year-old e-hailing driver who is also a diabetic patient, received treatment at Clinic Star Medicare on 22 August 2023 for a wound on her big toe. Le*** was fortunate to receive treatment early before the wound became more serious.

After more than two months, on 16 October 2023, she was successfully discharged with her foot wound fully healed and her diabetes under better control.

Ru***, a father of five and a diabetic patient, had delayed getting treatment for a severe wound and eventually agreed to the hospital’s decision to amputate all toes on one foot due to tissue death.

After the amputation, his foot condition worsened — the wound began to fill with pus and maggots. Once again, Ru*** was instructed by the hospital to proceed with amputation of the entire leg.

He refused the procedure because that leg was how he earned a living as a driver, a job he’d been doing for years. Without it, he wouldn’t have the strength to work and support his daily needs.

Clinging to hope, on 23/06/2023, Ru*** came to Clinic Star Medicare to try to save his leg from amputation. His condition at the time was very severe, but he believed that with timely and proper treatment, his leg might still be saved — unlike many others whose legs had to be amputated because they sought help too late.

With the help of modern treatment and technology, multiple efforts were made. He received advice on sugar control and healthy eating to speed up recovery. Proper foot care using Dfeet Lotion helped reduce infection risk and promote healing.

Finally, on 11/09/2023, after nearly three months of intensive care, Ru*** was successfully discharged — his leg was saved and he avoided major amputation. The team at Clinic Star Medicare successfully treated his wound without surgery.

Ru*** admitted that his wound became so severe because he did not manage his blood sugar, which was a major factor in the wound worsening.

It felt like being struck by lightning. Wh**, a 45-year-old woman who works as a tour bus driver, was reportedly divorced after suffering a foot wound caused by uncontrolled diabetes and very poor foot care.

Working long hours and wearing closed shoes and socks during work can lead to various skin problems such as calluses, dry skin, rough and scaly skin — all of which increase the risk of wounds or foot ulcers, especially when proper foot care is not practiced.

In a wounded condition, Wh** forced herself to come to Clinic Star Medicare accompanied by her child on (date) to receive her first treatment. In addition to advanced wound care technology, she was educated on nutrition and diabetes management to ensure her blood sugar levels stayed stable, helping accelerate the healing process. She was also advised to use Dfeet lotion consistently to prevent new wounds and protect the treated area.

Finally, on (date), the Clinic Star Medicare team successfully discharged Wh** with her foot wound fully healed and her blood sugar levels beautifully controlled and stable

Si****, a 75-year-old retired civil servant from Teluk Intan, was hoping for a second chance to save his leg after undergoing toe amputation due to uncontrolled diabetes and very poor foot care.

After the toe amputation surgery, his foot condition worsened, to the point that the hospital recommended immediate leg amputation.

On 27/07/2023, Si**** travelled from Teluk Intan to Johor Bahru to receive his first treatment at Clinic Star Medicare. Various treatments and technologies were used to ensure the severe open wound closed quickly. He was given guidance on proper blood sugar control and diet to speed up the healing process. Proper foot care using Dfeet Lotion was also applied to help reduce the risk of future wounds.

Finally, on 28/09/2023, Clinic Star Medicare and the team successfully saved another leg from amputation. That second chance was achieved — the severe diabetic wound healed completely, and his blood sugar levels were also stable before being officially discharged.

Si******, a mother of three who works as a security guard at a school in Muar, Johor, nearly lost the leg that had supported her for 54 years. She was advised to undergo amputation due to worsening foot conditions caused by uncontrolled diabetes and poor foot care.

She did not agree with the decision and declared that she would rather die than live without her leg.

Despite feeling devastated and hopeless, she still held on to hope to heal her leg. SivK*** then sought treatment at Clinic Star Medicare on 17/02/2023.

After several months of receiving treatment using advanced wound care technology to help close open wounds, along with guidance on blood sugar management, nutrition, and the use of Dfeet Lotion to prevent new wounds, her condition improved.

Finally, on 05/05/2023, the Clinic Star Medicare team successfully discharged SivK***, with her foot fully healed and blood sugar levels beautifully controlled.
